Funerals at St. Martin’s
The burial service in the Episcopal Church finds its meaning in the Resurrection of Christ. We gather as a faith community to commend our loved one to God and to give thanks for his or her life among us.
The clergy and members of St. Martin’s work closely together to plan these services and to support family members in their grief. Additionally, St. Martin’s maintains two memorial gardens for the burial of cremated remains of parishioners and their families.

The Memorial Gardens
St. Martin’s Memorial Gardens are a sacred resting place for the cremated remains of deceased members and their families. The two Memorial Gardens feature wrought iron fences, brick walkways, in-ground markers, fountains, and benches. St. Martin’s meticulously maintains the gardens and welcomes visitors. Interment in the Memorial Gardens is open to any member or former member of St. Martin's, as well as their spouse, children, and spouses thereof, and past and present clergy and their spouses and children.
