Our Vestry

Our Vestry is the governing board of our church, made up of elected members who help support the mission and ministry of our life together.

The word “vestry” comes from how these groups used to meet in the earlier days of the Episcopal Church — they would gather in the rector’s vesting room to hear and discuss the reports of the parish. Today, you can find our vestry members gathering together to do the business of the church in our Conference Room, and usually laughing together and spending time in fellowship. Introduce yourself to them at worship services, at formation classes, and while doing service work. They’ll be glad to tell you what they love about St. Martin’s.
