This Week from Mitch

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

There is so much happening. For those who have pledged, thank you. For those who have yet to pledge, please consider making a pledge to St. Martin's. Your pledge helps us to plan and do the ministries that we do. Also, if you made a pledge for 2022 and you have not yet paid it, please consider when and how you will. If you are not going to be able to honor it, give me a call so that church can know. I'll keep it between us and will quietly delete your pledge. Your pledge is not a bill; it is a gift. Please know it is received with deep gratitude.

In two weeks we will be hosting Trunk or Treat. Candy is coming in! Now we just need people to volunteer to bring their cars. Trunk or Treat is really, really fun. It is a great time. Come play with us, brighten the life of a child, and help show the neighborhood and city how fun St. Martin's truly is.

Between Pride, corn mazes, end-of-the-semester activities, high school plays, work deadlines, and youth sports, I know that our common lives are extremely busy. In the midst of this busyness consider stopping by St. Martin's to pray. Our chapel remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and our Sunday worship is good, holy, and welcoming. Let us be a place of peace for you.

In Christ,

Mitch+
