This Week from Mitch

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The office is filled with candy: Pirates' Booty, chips, a smoke machine and costumes. This can only mean one thing, Trunk or Treat is coming. Come play with us this Saturday from 4 to 6. We will hand out candy, laugh, meet our neighbors, meet our preschool parents, and have a great time with the youngest members of our church. It's silly. It's fun. It's great.

Following Trunk or Treat, we will be gearing up for All Saints' Day on Nov. 6. If you are interested in baptism, it's not too late. Please let me know. Also, if you would like a name listed in the necrology list, please email Robyn Holt in the Parish Office. (Please be sure to note if 2022 is the year of your loved one's death when you email Robyn.)

Finally, mark your calendars! On Nov. 15, we are hosting a party! This is to honor the feast of St. Martin's and we will have the Capital City Big Band playing here. Bring a side dish to share. The main course is on us -- the traditional St. Martin's Day dish of a roasted pig. Come, dance, and play.

In Christ,

Mitch+
