This Week from Mitch

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We have spent an important week here at St. Martin's working with professional church consultant Chris Jillard. She helped our vestry think about the structures of our church and how we go about doing the work of the Gospel while living together in community.

St. Martin's has experienced growth, which is awesome. With growth come important conversations about communication, organizational flow and welcome. 

In 2023, I see St. Martin's continuing in a positive direction. I am looking forward to seeing how the 5 o'clock service will change, grow and mature with new music coming from the congregation. In 2023, I see growth in our mission opportunities from the backpack program and our feeding ministries to our work with MORE Justice. In 2023, I see our community and the bonds of affection that we hold for each other growing stronger. With Jesus as our center, how could they not? I see the works of the Spirit flowing, and I am excited.
