This Week from Mitch
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I pray that you are well and that you have found ways to beat the summer heat. This week at St. Martin's has been a week of Bible stories, laughter, games, and play. Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers from youth to adults who have made this week happen. The pictures on our Facebook page and Instagram page are amazing. I encourage everyone to take a look.
Caitlyn and I look forward to hosting a welcome dinner tomorrow. If you have been visiting and would like to come, send us an email. There is always more room at the table. Next week, please keep our youth group in prayer as they start their mission trip in NYC . Also, starting on Wednesday of next week I am going to take some time off to be with my family. For any pastoral needs please contact Caitlyn.
As the summer draws to a close I find myself filled with gratitude. I am thankful for Jim Morgan and Helen Kline who have joined the St. Martin's team. I am thankful for our singers who, when many choirs take a break, kept our choir going all summer long. I am thankful for the amazing weddings we have done, Snowball Sundays, and truckloads of sweet corn. Indeed this summer has been special. There is much to be thankful for. Thank you St. Martin's for a summer of faithfulness, growth, and love.
In Christ,
Mitch+
